Very G1 accurate, probably nicer than most of the G1 soundwave toy ever made.

CrazyDevy does Seacons G1
Latest news: CrazyDevy has something brewing for the Seacons G1. Not really a fan of Seacons G1 due to the limited articulation and the figure felt weak at the waist down, but will be very interested to know what CrazyDevy will come out with.
The addon parts for Seacons/Piranacon G1 will be announced in Jan 2011. Crazy pricing again?

TFC-006B Phantom of Screamer Clear Coronation Set Review
Finally gotten a set of the TFC-006B Phantom of Screamer for my MP-3G Starscream Ghost Version. The packaging was ok, nothing fancy.

Upon opening the package, my first disappointment was that the crown does not looks as good as what was shown on the website. The red on the crown was obviously painted instead of translucent.

The shoulder armour was ok, but still differs very much from the prototype we seen on the web.

My greatest disappointed for the set was the cape. The cape has crease lines and there's this semi circle mark on the cape. I'm totally pissed with this. The cape is made of some cheap shower curtain type of material that you could find in Daiso.

Starscream doesn't seems to be pleased with this coronation set.

The clear coronation set does improves the overall look of ghost starscream, but I'm put off by the creases on the cape and the red on the crown is painted instead of translucent.

Masterpiece Rodimus Prime Video Preview
The design and articulation for Masterpiece Rodimus Prime is SUPERB. Nothing to complain about this guy except for the price. It's expected to be priced around US$200.

TFClub Devastator is gonna be so so so AWESOME!!!
TFClub Hook pictures has surfaced on the web and you could see that the level of details are OUTSTANDING!

The toy looks amazing but the dude is missing his visor as shown in the G1 cartoon.

I do wish that it will be corrected for the sake of all die hard fans of the G1 Devastator.

New gears for G1 PredaKing
TFCLUB Junkion Blacksmith will be releasing a set of articulate hands, shoulder canon and a broad sword for the PredaKing G1. So far there's no estimated shipping date released.
I do hope that the pricing will be more affordable than CrazyDevy's King Power Parts.

PredaKing 2010 Reissue Review - Part II Final
Hey guys, I'm back with more updates.
Took out the stickers this morning and begun to put on the blings for predaking.

The process was tedious as I have very shaky hands. I read the instructions and made sure that the orientation of the stickers are correct. I noticed that the instructions given was for the previous issues of predaking as the some of the stickers shown in the instruction leaflet does not match the stickers given.
My problem came when I was sticking the stickers for Tantrum's shoulder. Anyway I juz looked closely at the battle card and tried to sort out the orientation to stick the stickers. The gold portion is facing towards the shoulder, correct me if I'm wrong.

Here's the comparison for the before and after. Looks great isn't it? My Rampage's tail is very loose as you can see on the picture on the right side .. any solution?

A pose from the King.

Predacons looks great on their own as beast mode, but definitely a No No for me in robot mode. Limited poses in robot mode as they are still the same old G1 figures. No doubt Predaking already look good on it's own, I do hope that some 3rd party toy makers will make some extra accessories to further enhance the posability of the G1 predaking.
Articulation: 3 - Very limited articulation
Value for Money: 3 - I find that the price is rather steep
Summary: 7 - Despite the steep price and limited articulation, I still find that this is a good toy . The 25th anniversary Predaking will be a nice showpiece in your home if you do not own the vintage one.

PredaKing 2010 Reissue Review - Part I
This is my review of the G1 PredaKing 2010 by TakaraTomy. The box art was great and the box wasn't as heavy as I thought. The 2010 version is the die cast version.
Name: Predaking
Release Date: Late Nov 2010
Released By: Takara Tomy

Upon opening the box,I was pleasantly greeted by the five figures, Razorclaw, Rampage, Divebomb, Tantrum and Headstrong. Personally I liked the new colors as compared to the vintage.
So what do I think about the 2010 version of PredaKing? Beside the new paint job, everything is still the same. Price wise it's kinda steep, currently it's retailing around US$180 in online stores. But if you are a fan of PredaKing and I recommend that you bite the bullet and GET ONE!
The combined mode is fabulous and I will let the pictures talk for itself. Enjoy!

Size comparison with a Revoltech Rodimus

If you have noticed that I have not put on the stickers that came with Predaking, I will do that in my next review.
